Why Start A Niche Site?

I start a niche site because ...

I want to earn extra income and alternative sources of income other than my job.

A blog is a digital asset, and I own it.

Use it as a portfolio or resume to showcase my digital skills to find work or network with others.

I can start with Google Blogspot blogs, which is free. The only investment I make is buying a domain name.

I use these free blogs to test my ideas, as a Minimum Viable Product Blog.

Learn the basics of Google Adsense earnings, and move onto bigger ad networks later on.

Practice HTML, CSS and Javascript. Nothing beats real world practice on website making than learning the basics from free blogs on blogspot.

Learn new things like editing videos and images.

...but more importantly, what's your reasons to start a niche site?
